We recently had the pleasure of having Gary for multiple projects involving fixing major storm water plumbing mistakes made by other plumbers, building two stone steps (front door and backyard), landscaping, and the installation of a new concrete front walkway, side walkway and driveway. We are thrilled to say that working with Gary was an absolute delight from start to finish. We are thrilled with the work Gary undertook at our house. The job was enormous, challenging and complex—including removing pavers and intrusive tree roots in preparation for laying a new large and steeply curved concrete driveway, construction of an extensive retaining wall built to, and even exceeding Australian Standards, and removing old brick pavers and laying new travertine pavers around a large irregular curved swimming pool. Prior to paving, the pool area required considerable repair/structural and drainage work, which involved a partly suspended concrete slab that was thoughtfully and thoroughly executed.

Gary and his team were relentless throughout the long and tiring job. He was always steady, reliable, honest, thoughtful, polite and nothing was too much to ask of him. He was a pleasure for my wife and I to have working outside our house and was non-intrusive and always cleaned up after any work. Gary was also easy to communicate with by phone, message and in person and always responded quickly to any enquiries we had.

We would highly recommend Gary for any work he undertakes. Attention to detail is a priority and we have a vastly-improved outdoor area to show for Gary’s efforts.

Wouldn’t go anywhere else. Gary is always polite, extremely knowledgeable, always on time, has an exceptional eye for detail, treats every job as if it were his own, very well priced, no job is to big or small, always goes above and beyond.

Gary Hardman is a good old school tradie, these fellows are very hard to find these days. Most don’t no one even want to quote unless its an enormous job but Gary is happy to provide customer service. He is polite and helpful. He constructed a concrete a/c pad mount, fixed a small retainer wall and paving dug up by a plumber who was laying a pipe on the same day. Nothing is too much trouble for Gary.

Gary arrived on time and organised the removal of the old drive the excavation for the new one and had the new driveway poured and completed within days. Gary stayed until well after dark working by torch light to ensure the job was finished on time and on budget. The best looking driveway in the street and a very fair price.

Gary constructed the driveway for our home in Warrawee in April 2023. We are very pleased with the result and the process. He knew the Kuringai Council rules well and took the trouble to talk to the Council first because of the special nature of our entrance. He and his team did a great job and cleaned up properly. He provides a complete service and I highly recommend him.

Hardman Paving & Concreting undertook a large paving and landscaping job for us at our home in Turramurra in October 2022. The job involved paving a large driveway, construction of a retaining wall and creation of a car parking area. Gary Hardman provided us with a competitively priced quote and did an excellent job which exceeded our expectations. Gary and his colleagues were easy to work with, communicated well and did everything that they promised and more. The works were completed to a very high standard and we were extremely happy with the final result.

Gary was fantastic in offering us the best professional services and now we have a beautiful concreted backyard. He was always polite and punctual and offered us the best price to finish the work. We highly recommend Gary do the best job possible.

I have had Gary pave the area surrounding my pool and he did an amazing job, I also had to remove an old broken concrete drive and replace it with a new stencil driveway. The change it made was incredible and again Gary did the best job, of great quality.

I recently had Gary concrete a wet and soggy backyard at my investment property and as expected the job was done on time, within budget and to the highest quality.

Gary did a complete makeover on the side yard which had no drains leading into storm water connections. His quote came out reasonable, his work was well planned throughout, he is very dedicated and was meticulous in his work to remove the existing paving’s, building trench for new drain system, connecting to the storm water and then building a concrete pathway. Love his work and will definitely hire him again for other works around the house!!

Gary is both a gentleman and a master tradesman who takes full ownership of the job, and who will not be satisfied until the job is done absolutely right. He has done extensive work around our home, and even the neighbors say his work is better than what they had done. His price is fair and he is more than happy to talk openly and honestly about the job before and during the work. I am terribly fussy about the standard of work being done, but he goes beyond. He is a rare tradesman. He is the best tradie I have dealt with, since I built my first house 35 years ago.
